Instructions At Griffith Park Golf Shop

The staff at the Barber Shop is dedicated to the traditions of the game of golf. It is important that any golfer who wants to learn the game does so from the ground up with solid fundamentals in an environment that is conducive to learning. Griffith Park features a 50 tee double decked driving range which is lighted. We also have a practice bunker, two pitching and chipping greens and five different putting greens. You can work on your golfing skills from sun up to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week.

There are a variety of instructional packages available from all of our teaching professionals: Private lessons, Semi-Private lessons, Group lessons, Playing lessons, Clinics and Customized programs.

Prices may vary somewhat between instructors based on experience and qualifications. Check with each instructor for exact prices. Private lessons are an excellent way to go one-on-one with a highly skilled PGA instructor. The typical cost of lessons is as follows:

Group golf lessons are also available. The Griffith Park School of Golf offers three levels of instruction: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The schools offer a condensed, yet comprehensive program in a group setting. This program covers all elements of the game from full swing mechanics to short game concepts. Each school is designed to accommodate a variety of golfers using simple teaching techniques.
