A centrally located oasis, Griffith Park is a unique playground enjoyed
by Angelenos and tourists for over 100 years. With over 4,107 acres of
natural terrain covered
with California Oak Trees, wild Sage and Manzanita, Griffith Park is the largest municipal park and urban
wilderness area in the United States. Home of the Wilson and Harding
Golf Courses. Shop facility owned by Tom Barber PGA and Roger Barber and
managed by Jeff Barber PGA for all of your golfing needs.

Griffith Park boasts 4 Golf Courses:
1) Woodrow Wilson Golf Course,
par 72, opened in 1923
2) Warren G. Harding Golf Course;
par 72, opened in 1924
3) Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Course;
par 33, opened in 1937
4) Los Feliz Golf Course;
par 27 course, opened in 1952

Griffith Park's Wilson and Harding Golf Courses
each year hosts
the City Junior Golf Championship, the Men's and Women's
City Golf
Championship and hosted the Los Angeles Open
in 1937, '38 and '39. The
most difficult decision to make at
Griffith Park is which course to play
first.
Griffith Park also features a 50 tee double-decked
driving
range with misters on the bottom deck to keep you cool;
The driving range is open every day
from 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Griffith Park also offers
4 practice putting greens, 2 pitching and
chipping
greens and 1 practice bunker. With practice facilities
available to work on each specific area of your game,
you should see
those scores drop…if not, lessons a
re available from several PGA Golf
Professionals here at Griffith Park.
The Barber Shop won the America's 100 Best Golf Shop Award
eight consecutive years. The Barber Shop also was recognized as the PGA
Public Merchandiser of the Year by the Southern California PGA Section
in 1993. The Barber Shop delivers exceptional service from a friendly
and enthusiastic staff. Golf instruction is available with a special
emphasis on Junior Golf.
Griffith Park is conveniently located off the 5 Freeway
